Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister Imad Khamis discussed on Sunday with Indian Ambassador to Syria Man Mohan Bhanot the means to promote the economic relations between Syria and India based on the governmental work program in cooperation with India, particularly in the energy field.
Premier Khamis expressed Syria’s appreciation for India’s stances towards Syria in its war against terrorism, mainly its positions on the international level, pointing out that the two sides agreed to develop the work of the Syrian-Indian joint committee.
For his part, Bhanot appreciated the efforts of the Syrian government in developing and coordinating cooperation between the two countries in the political and economic levels, adding that his country is open to the ideas proposed by the Syrian government and will exert efforts to make them real.
