Damascus, SANA- The Cabinet held Saturday, an extraordinary session to Follow-up on developments in the field in the context of the attack by al-Nusra Front and associated armed terrorist gangs on a number of cities and regions, and the accompanying sabotage of service and economic facilities, terrorizing the safe population and creating an atmosphere of instability.
Prime Minister Mohammed al-Jalali stressed that the government has the experience and ability to deal with emergency situations and developments imposed by the terrorist gangs’ attacks on a number of cities and regions.
The cabinet renewed its full confidence in the Syrian Arab Army and its ability to achieve victory in the sacred national battle against terrorism and its supporters.
The session focused on discussing developments in the living and service conditions of citizens, and government measures to ensure the continuity of providing basic services in various provinces, and securing all relief requirements for those displaced by terrorism, as well as providing the necessary supplies for the continuation of work and production in vital institutions that are directly linked to providing services to citizens.
The Premier stressed that the real battle that our country is fighting was the battle to control the sovereign decision of the Syrian state, the battle of awareness, the battle of faith in the homeland and adherence to the national identity.
He added that that our battle is in-depth one that our brave army and armed forces has still been fighting since 2011 until this moment.
