Two Presidential Laws grant State attorneys monthly compensations, establish joint fund for judges

Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad issued on Tuesday Law No. 32 establishing a joint fund for government judges, the Public Prosecution, judges of the State Council, military judges, and members of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

President al-Assad also issued Law No. 33 for 2024 granting attorneys of the State’s Cases Administration a monthly pleading allowance amounting to 150 percent of the monthly salary, and establishing a joint fund for them to benefit from that suits their work in pleading before the courts.

Retired and laid-off attorneys from the State’s Cases Administration also benefit from the law, at a rate of 80 percent of those who are on-the-job.
