Moscow, SANA- Syrian Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Bassam Touma discussed Wednesday with the Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab means of enhancing mutual cooperation between Syria and Algeria in various fields particularly the offshore exploration and mineral resources.
“On the sidelines of Russian Energy Week, the Syrian side held several meetings with energy ministers of some friendly countries, most significant of which was with the Algerian Minister ” Touma said in a statement to SANA reporter.
Touma added that the two miniseries discussed means of boosting cooperation in onshore and offshore exploration as well as in phosphates and mineral resources.
Both sides agreed upon passing on an invitation to a Syrian delegation to visit Algeria before the end of the year.
