Dubrovnik (Croatia), SANA- Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) received Best News Item Award in the competition of Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN) specialized for best news item and best photograph, winning the first place over European and Arab news agencies from France, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Algeria, Egypt , Morocco and others.
AMAN announced Wednesday the winners of its competition, where SANA won the Best News Item Award for the second time as it won the first one in 2015.
Muhammad Imad Deghli from SANA received “Best News Item Award 2021” for its article entitled “Syrians are the First to Invent Seals in the World” while “Best Photo Winner 2021” goes to photographer Miguel Calero from EFE.
The first award obtained by SANA in 2015 was for Deghli’s article entitled “The Goddess of Love and Beauty, a Symbol that Endured for Millennia of Human History”
