Syria, Russia to boost cooperation in higher education domain

Moscow, SANA- Minister of Higher Education Bassam Ibrahim discussed with his Russian counterpart Valery Falkovt ways to develop cooperation between Syria and Russia in the fields of higher education and scientific research.

The two ministers referred to the importance of the agreement signed between Damascus University and Moscow State Medical University, that includes exchange experiences and students study in Moscow University.

They also pointed out the importance of the first Russian-Syrian international conference, Tariq Ibn Sina, which opened in Moscow yesterday and is scheduled to be held in its second edition in Damascus next April, as it is considered a development of educational cooperation.
