Damascus, SANA- Syrian-Cuban friendship committee at the People Assembly discussed on Sunday with Cuban Ambassador in Damascus Miguel Porto Parga means to develop parliamentary relations between the two friendly countries.
Head of the Syrian-Cuban friendship committee Ayman Malandi pointed out to the deeply –rooted historic ties binding Syria and Cuba.
He said that Syria and Cuba are partners in the struggle against the forces of imperialism and hegemony represented by the US which seeks to control every independent country.
For his part, the Cuban Ambassador underlined that Cuba will remain by the side of Syria, particularly in light of the current circumstances.
He condemned the US exploitation of the coronavirus pandemic to increase its aggressive policies against countries with an independent decision, mainly Syria, Cuba and Venezuela.
