Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain slightly above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rainfalls might fall over the coastal areas in the evening and the weather will be cold, warning against fog at the mountains and some inland areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 8/18, Daraa 10/18, Homs 5/16, Lattakia 13/19, Aleppo 6/15 and Deir Ezzor 10/15.
