Syrian show “The Window” draws record crowd at Carthage Theatre Days in Tunisia

Tunisia, SANA – Great success and large attendance for the Syrian theatrical show “The Window” that was performed Saturday at al-Hamra Theatre in Tunisia’s capital within the framework of the 18th edition of Carthage Theatre Days which kicked off yesterday.

The 60-minute show was produced by the Syrian Culture Ministry, directed by Majd Fedda and performed by Jafra Younes and Mazen Al-Jebbeh. It is based on the Polish playwright Ireneusz Iredynski’s play and highlights the impact of terrorist war on the daily life of the Syrian people.

In addition to Syria, theatrical shows from Russia, Venezuela, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Kuwait, Spain, Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Belgium, Sudan, Switzerland, Germany, Mali, France, the UAE, Mexico, Togo, Cameron, Rwanda and Tunisia are taking part in the festival which wraps up on November 26.
