Damascus, SANA – Higher Education Minister Atef Naddaf discussed on Wednesday with Armenian Ambassador in Damascus Arshak Poladian cooperation relations in the fields of higher education and scientific research, in addition to preparations for the signing of the new executive program for cultural cooperation agreement between the two countries.
Naddaf affirmed the importance of cooperation between the two sides and working to increase the scholarships provided by the Armenian side to support capability-building programs and specialization programs.
For his part, Poladian said that the new executive program for cultural cooperation agreement is important for enhancing cooperation between the two sides, adding that the Syrian and Armenian sides are ready to sign the agreement in the near future.
