Jakarta, SANA – In his second international participation this year, Syria’s Mohammad Hazem Nao qualified for the third round of singles competitions at the ITF Junior Championship held in Indonesia.
Nao, who is member of the Syrian national tennis team, defeated a Vietnamese player in the second round and an Indonesian player in the first round.
Nao is meeting an Indian player in the third round in a match to be held later today.
In doubles, Nao and his South Korean teammate won over an Indonesian team in the first round, qualifying for the second round where they will meet a Japanese team.
Earlier in March, Nao participated in Uzbekistan Championship where he made it through to the quarterfinals.
