Five civilians injured in armed groups’ attacks in Aleppo and Hama

Aleppo/Hama, SANA – Three civilians were injured by armed groups’ shelling attack on a residential neighborhood in the northern city of Aleppo, in a new breach of the cessation of hostilities agreement that has been in place since on 27 February.

A Police Command source told SANA reporter on Tuesday that 3 civilians were injured by a number of shells that fell in al-Aziziyeh neighborhood, adding that material damage was caused at the site.

Armed groups operating in a number of neighborhoods in Aleppo target locals with rocket shells and mortars, which have killed and injured dozens of civilians, mostly children and women.

In Hama province, a woman and her child were injured in a terrorist attack on Nahr al-Bared town in al-Ghab Plain in the northwestern countryside of the province.

A source at Hama Police Command told SANA reporter that 3 rocket shells, fired by terrorists positioned in Tal Hawash in Jabal al-Zawiya in the countryside of the neighboring Idleb province, hit houses in Nahr al-Bared town, injuring a woman and her child and causing material damage to the place.

Three other shells hit in al-Eber village, causing material damage only.

Terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra that are positioned in a number of towns and cities along the border between Idleb and Hama target every now and then locals in neighboring safe areas with rocket shells and mortars, leaving casualties among the civilians.
