Zurich, SANA-Syria’s national football team advanced 7 ranks in FIFA classification, coming in the 125th position internationally with 254 points, keeping its 17th place in Asia.

The new progress in the classification of the Syrian team internationally came after gaining good results in the joint qualifications for 2018 World Cup in Russia and 2019 Asian Cup in the UAE.

The Syrian national football team comes second with 15 points in the 5th group after Japan with 16 points.
