Virginia, SANA- U.S. Senator for the State of Virginia Richard Black asserted that financing terrorism in the world comes from Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and the Western intelligence agencies have been working on overthrowing Syrian government for the last 15 years while the Syrians are suffering from terrorism because they support their leadership.
The Syrian people are unified and reject terrorism and if they remain unified, I am sure they will achieve victory, Black said during a phone call via Skype with the Syrian TV channel aired on Saturday.
The Senator reiterated that terrorism which targeted Syria from the beginning of the crisis was coming through the Turkish borders where thousands of arms-loaded trucks and “Jihadists” were sent to terrorist organizations in Syria.. at a time the United States still divides terrorists to good and bad, meaning that it rounds at empty circle and supports the same terrorist organizations responsible for September 11th attacks in US.
On the letter he has sent recently to President Bashar al-Assad, Black stated that last year he sent a letter to president al-Assad and the reactions without any exception were positive, pointing out that because of the last letter’s comments he received, it is obvious that “nobody opposes my step”.
On Tuesday Nov. 17th, President al-Assad received a letter from Senator Black a letter in which he said “I was pleased by the Russians’ intervention against the armies invading Syria. With their support, the Syrian Army has made dramatic strides against the terrorists.”
“I was delighted by Syria’s resounding victory over ISIS at the Kuwairis Airfield. My compliments to those who heroically rescued 1,000 brave Syrian soldiers from certain death. I am convinced that many such victories lie ahead,” Black added in his letter.
The Senator asserted that the war on Syria was not caused by domestic unrest, saying “It was an unlawful war of aggression by foreign powers determined to force a puppet regime on Syria
The Senator reaffirmed in his statement to the Syrian TV that there were attempts to manifest that the war on Syria was domestic unrest, saying “General Wesley Clark, former Supreme Allied Commander Europe, revealed that by 2001, Western powers had developed plans to overthrow some governments in the Middle East especially in Syria. Yet after ten years all the plans have been put underway and the US, Britain and France attacked Libya to control arms and then to flame war in Syria,” highlighting that ” Qatar had the main role in transforming arms from Libya to Turkey then to Syria to ignite the flames of war in it.”
Senator Black affirmed that Muslim Brotherhood Movement in Syria caused at the eighties of the last century enormous violence acts and the Western, Turkish and Qatari intelligence agencies helped them and began to prepare for creating chaos in Syria from the beginning with the help of the French and American ambassadors in Damascus.
Black directed a message to the Syrian people who have been fighting terrorism for many years in which he expressed regret over the US sending anti-tank TOW missiles to terrorists in Syria , considering such behavior “horrible ” and will cause obstacles for the Syrian army in fighting terrorism.
