Cabinet grants SYP 500 million to Aleppo City Council

Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet on Tuesday approved during its weekly session on Tuesday a draft resolution on granting Aleppo City council a financial contribution of SYP 500 million to cover its work expenses in light of the current circumstances.

Chairing the session, Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi said the Cabinet is monitoring the status of the SYP exchange rate and the steps taken by the Central Bank and the Currency and Credit Council to stabilize it.
