Damascus, SANA – The Syrian team for table tennis is participating in the Asia Championship for Female-Juniors to be launched in Malaysia on Monday until 26th of the current month.
The team, headed to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, has been trained well in an indoors training camp in Damascus, which focused on the skills and physical fitness of the team members.
Asia Championship is considered one of the most significant international championships, as the participating teams –including the Chinese, Japanese and South Korean- are ranked the best worldwide.
The Syrian team includes the players Suzan Mohammad, Iman Mahmoud, Hiba al-Laji, Raghad and others under the supervision of the coaches Ahmad al-Hafez and Rasha al-Shamali.
