Provinces, SANA-Units of the army and the armed forces on Wednesday continued to tighten the noose around the foreign-backed Takfiri organizations across the country, killing scores of their members and destroying their dens and hideouts.
Daraa
Units of the army and armed forces carried out precise operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations’ gatherings in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood in the southern province of Daraa, a military source told SANA Wednesday.
The source added that the army operations resulted in the killing and inuring a number of terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called the Islamic al-Muthana Movement, destroying their weapons and ammunition warehouse and a car equipped with heavy
machinegun in al-Kark neighborhood, al-Sibeh, at the surroundings of the post building and to the south of al-Sad road.
The Takfiri terrorist organizations admitted, on their social media website, that they suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment in addition to the killing of a number of their members, among them terrorist Abdul-Qader Jaber Abu Kulaib.
The army targeted hideouts for jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Tal al-Hara to the north-west of Daraa and killed and injured a number of terrorists.
An army unit targeted terrorists’ concentrations in Tafas city, killing a number of terrorists and destroyed three vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns and explosives.
Earlier Tuesday, an army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group in al-Kark neighborhood in Daraa and destroyed two vehicles carrying terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization on the meteorological road in Daraa al-Ballad neighborhood.
Sweida
In neighboring province, a unit of the army and armed forces killed scores of terrorists and injured others in a tight ambush in the vicinity of Tal al-Khaledyeh in the northeastern countryside of the province.
Aleppo
The army foiled an attempt by terrorists to attack a military post near the air force academy in Aleppo, killing many terrorists and destroying three vehicles.
Idleb
An Army unit eliminated a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists during a special operation against their gatherings in the area surrounding Ghaniya town in Jisr al-Shughour city in Idleb province.
Army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in the area surrounding the brick factory, Jozaf, Saraqeb, Kafr Lata and Sailon in Idleb countryside, eliminated dozens of them, injured others and destroyed their weapons and ammunition.
An army unit killed a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in a precise operation against one of their gatherings at the surroundings of Ghaniyah village in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughour.
Scores of terrorists were killed; their vehicles were destroyed in Filon at the surroundings of al-Karmid (Bricks) Factory in Idleb countryside, the source added.
Other army units carried out direct blows to the terrorists’ gatherings in Jouzif village, 10 km to the west of al-Arba’in Mountain in the countryside of Idleb, killing and injuring a number of them.
Another army unit destroyed terrorist organizations’ hideouts in Saraqib and KaferLata villages, inflicting heavy losses upon them in personnel and equipment.
Hasaka
Scores of ISIS terrorists were killed during intensive army operations against their gatherings in al-Jabal quarries, in al-Ghara village, near al-Khaznah School and in Mesbah hill west of Hasaka city, a military source said.
A number of ISIS terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammo destroyed in al-Sawda and Abd villages west of Hasaka.
Homs
In the eastern countryside of Homs province, the army air force destroyed scores of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria “ISIS” terrorists’ vehicles and killed a number of them in a series of raids against their dens in the areas of Um Sahrij, north of al-Jazal and al-Sha’air oil and gas fields, in Um al-Rish and Rasm al-Ruk .
A military source said that army killed and injured a number of terrorists in Abu al-Salasel, Talat al-Bado, Mazra’at al-Hilalyeh, al-Farhanyeh al-Gharbyeh and Umm Sharshouh to the east of Homs.
The army also targeted terrorists’ concentrations and gatherings in a number of areas in al-Houla, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Hama
An Army unit targeted with intensive strikes terrorist organizations’ positions in the area surrounding al-Sirmania town in the western countryside of Hama.
The strikes resulted in the death of many terrorists, the injury of many others in addition to the destruction of terrorists’ ammo and weaponry.
The Army air force destroyed a convoy of vehicles for terrorists, killing scores of them and wounding others on al-Hamidieh-Qastoun axis in Hama northwestern countryside.
An Army unit eliminated 17 terrorists in an ambush in the area surrounding al-Mansoura town in the northwestern countryside of Hama.
17 other terrorists were killed in an army ambush at the surroundings of al-Mansourah town in the northwestern countryside of the province.
Aan army unit carried out direct blows to the Takfiri terrorist organizations at the surroundings of al-Sarmaniyeh village in the western countryside of Hama, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
The Air Force destroyed a number of terrorist organizations’ vehicles, killing scores of their members and injuring others on al-Hamidiyeh-Kaston vicinity in the northwestern countryside of the province.
Lattakia
Army units controlled a number of points in the area surrounding Markashlieh and Jubb al-Ahmar, advancing towards al-Nabi Younes Mountain in Lattakia countryside and killing a number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.
