Meeting at Cabinet to discuss providing services to Aleppo province

Damascus, SANA- Following up on the developments of the field situation in Aleppo province and its surroundings due to the attack of terrorist groups driven by hostile external directives and orders, a meeting was held Saturday, led by Prime Minister Muhammad Ghazi al-Jalali, in the presence of a number of ministers concerned with service affairs.

The meeting discussed possible ways to continue providing services to citizens in Aleppo province after the terrorist groups reached some government and service departments there, intimidate workers and prevent them from continuing to provide services to citizens.

Talks during the meeting underscored that Syria has been living a war against terrorism since 2011 and the terrorist attacks on Aleppo city over the past days are nothing but an additional attempt by the terrorists to undermine peace and stability and terrorize citizens.

The meeting noted that the government works with all capabilities to serve the heroes of Syrian Arab Army, and continue to make every effort to ensure the appropriate environment to achieve victory over the enemies of the homeland and citizens.

The continued coordination between the governors and military officials in the province to take any required measures to ensure the safety and security of the citizens and protect them from attacks by terrorist groups was also emphasized.

The meeting also discussed with complete transparency the misleading media war being broadcast by terrorist groups, their operators, tools and media arms, aimed at undermining the morale of citizens and state institutions, which were and will remain at their highest levels.
