Provinces, SANA – The army and the armed forces on Wednesday carried out a number of large-scale counter-terrorism operations in several areas.
Damascus Countryside
Army units eliminated non-Syrian terrorists in Khan al-Sheeh area in Damascus Countryside, according to a military source.
Other units targeted terrorists’ hideouts in al-Seis Mount and Ayn al-Bustan in Sa’sa’ and in al-Habbaryeh village, killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Daraa
Army units eliminated many terrorists and injured others at the entrance of al-Msaifra town in the eastern part of Draraa province.
In the province’s northwestern countryside, army units targeted terrorist hideouts in Kafr Nassej and the north side of Aqraba village, inflicting heavy losses in members and equipment upon the terrorists.
Another army unit killed and injured members of a terrorist group in Tal Qarin area north of Kafr Nasseh and west of Deir al-Adas.
In Daraa al-Balad, an army unit carried out a precise operation targeting concentrations of terrorists, resulting in the killing and injuring of a number of terrorists in al-Bajabija neighborhood.
Terrorists’ pages on social networking sites acknowledged the death of a number of their members in the province, including one nicknamed Abu Assem al-Urduni and Mohammad Hussein al-Masalmeh.
Quneitra
The army unit eliminated a number of terrorists in Tal Mashara and al-Simdanyeh al-Gharbyeh in Quneitra countryside.
Homs
Army units killed and injured a number of terrorists in the areas of Rahhoum, al-Msherfa al-Shamalyeh, Abu Hawadet, and al-Tafha in Homs’ eastern countryside.
Idleb
A military source said the army eliminated large numbers of terrorists in al-Hamidyeh, Tal Salmo, Umm Jrein, and Abu al-Dohour in Idleb countryside.
The source added that the army killed and injured a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition in Jisr al-Shughour and Dweir al-Akrad.
Meanwhile, The army destroyed dens for terrorists in Sarakeb, al-Rami and al-Wes factory in Idleb countryside, killing many of the terrorists.
Hama
A military source told SANA that the army destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Hammadi Omar, Abu Habilat, Dakela, and Rasm Qatesh in Hama countryside.
Lattakia
The army killed terrorists and destroyed their vehicles in the villages of Akko, Wadi Basour, Kanabsa, and al-Najyeh in Lattakia’s northern countryside.
