Temperatures around average, clear to partly cloudy weather prevails

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general and relatively hot in the eastern region, al-Jazeera and al-Badia.

The wind will be westerly to north westerly of moderate in speed and sometimes with active gusts while it will be slightly south westerly in the coastal region and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus   35/22  , Tartous  33/27  ,Homs 33/23     ,Lattakia  32/27   ,Aleppo  37/23   .
