Syria’s female Junior table tennis team defeats Egyptian counterpart in Arab championship

Amman, SANA- Syria’s female Junior table tennis team has won three innings to one inning for the Egyptian team in the Arab championship opened on Tuesday in Amman with participation of thirteen countries.

The Syrian team, within the junior category, also defeated its Iraqi counterpart with three innings to zero, while the Syrian Cubs team lost to Egypt’s junior team by three innings.

The teams participating in the championship have been divided into groups, as the Syrian junior team was in the first group along with the Egyptian and Kuwaiti teams, while the Syrian Cubs team will play within the second group along with the Jordanian, Iraqi and Qatari teams and our junior team which is in the first group will compete along with Qatar, Iraq and Egypt.
