Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will tend to drop, yet they will remain from 4 to 6 degrees above average in the eastern and al-Jazeera regions, while they will be around average or slightly higher in the other regions as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a weak chance for scattered rains over the coastal mountains, while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern, al-Badia “semi-desert” and al-Jazeera regions.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts whose speed exceeds 50km/h sometimes, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/15, Daraa 30/14, Homs 28/14, Lattakia 23/13, Aleppo 29/15 and Deir Ezzor 36/21.
