Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will be above average from 2 to 5 degrees, as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal superficial pressure, accompanied by a high subtropical air current in the upper layers of atmosphere.
Meteorology department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be hot and clear in general and it will be hot and misty in the eastern regions, al-Jazeera and al-Badia (semi-desert).
The winds will be westerly to southwesterly in coastal area, while it will be westerly to northwesterly in other regions, and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39 / 22, Homs 34 /22, Hama 40 / 25, Tartous 34 / 27, Aleppo 37 / 24, Lattakia 33 / 26.
