Expatriate researcher, Hala Qasqas launches Damascene Heritage Archive website

Ottawa, SANA-Syrian expatriate researcher, Hala Qasqas launched a website entitled “The Damascene Heritage Archive Project”, aiming at   making it an open database in which all interested researchers can contribute to its content and benefit from what will be published on it.

The project is an institution that was set off from Canada with the aim of documenting the heritage of Damascus, both material and immaterial, as it began its work by launching a research documentary website.

 

 As Damascus city has an open nature that includes various types of fabric, membership in the project has been left open to all who wish.

The website includes six main doors, the Historical buildings, popular arts, traditional professions and many other doors.
