Rain expected over southeastern areas and al-Jazzera

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain slightly above their average as the country is affected by low air pressure accompanied with northeastern air currents in upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy, scattered rain showers are expected over southeastern areas and al-Jazzera.

The wind will be easterly to southeasterly of a low to moderate speed, changing to northwesterly at light speed, while the sea waves will be medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 16/8, Daraa 18/9, Homs 15/8, Lattakia 20/6, Aleppo 17/11 and Deir Ezzor 20/8.
