Worldwide coronavirus infections climb to about 41.5 million

Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has claimed the lives of 1,136,343 persons all over the world since its appearance last December.

According to the latest statistics of the Worldometers website, which tracks the developments of virus, the total number of the recorded coronavirus infections worldwide has reached up to 41 million and 487,304 while the number of recoveries has amounted to 30 million and 914,158 so far.

The Czech Republic announced that 120 coronavirus patients have passed away and 14,968 new infections have been registered as the total number of infections has amounted to 208,915 while the death toll has reached up to 1,739.

In South Korea ,110 new coronavirus infections have been recorded and 3 patients have passed away, bringing the total number of infections to 25,543 and the deaths to 453.
