Damascus, SANA-Al-Majd football team beat its counterpart of al-Yaqatha on Wednesday 2-0 at the end of the second round stage of the First Football League for the Southern Group.
In the match that was held at the al-Galaa Stadium in Damascus, al-Majd scored an important win over Al-Yaqatha 2-0 through Raja Rafeh in the 45th minute and Abdel Mo’ati Kayari in the 60th minute.
In a second match which was held at the Governorate’s stadium in Damascus at the end of the southern group first leg, al-Mohafaza and al-Harjila teams also tied 1-1.
With those results, al-Majd raised its points to 7, followed by Al-Harajla with 5 points, then Al-Mohafaza with two points.
