New batch of food aid to be distributed among locals of Sheikh Miskin in Daraa countryside

Daraa, SANA- Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Daraa branch transported a food aid convoy to be distributed among the people who need in al-Sheikh Miskin city in Daraa northern countryside.

Head of the SARC branch in Daraa, Ahmed al-Masalema told SANA in a statement on Sunday that a convoy consists of 8 trucks loaded with 5100 food baskets and flour bags   were transported by the SARC branch to al-Sheikh Miskin city in Daraa northern countryside to be distributed among the people who need.

Al-Masalema added that the aid is presented by the World Food Program (WFP).

Last Thursday, SARC Daraa branch distributed 4200 food baskets and flour bags among the locals of al-Karek and Um Walad in Daraa eastern countryside.
