Counter-terrorism and crisis in Syria to be discussed during Collective Security Treaty Organization’s meeting

Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Assistant, Yuri Ushakov announced that the Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss counter-terrorism issue and the situation in Syria during the Collective Security Treaty Organization’s meeting (CSTO) due to be held in Astana on Thursday.

Sputnik quoted Ushakov as saying to journalists on Wednesday that a detailed exchange of views on major issues of regional security and a number of international issues are supposed to be discussed, as well as discussing combating terrorism and the crisis Syria and the situation in Afghanistan and others regions.

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
