Russian Defense Ministry: Terrorists begin filming staged chemical incident to accuse Syrian Army

Moscow, SANA – The Russian Defense Ministry said there is reliable information confirming that terrorist groups have begun on Tuesday filming scenes of a staged chemical attack in the city of Jisr al-Shughour in Idleb countryside in order to accuse the Syrian Arab Army of carrying out the attack.

The Russian Coordination Center at Hmeimim Airbase said in a statement that it received information from locals confirming that terrorists are shooting scenes depicting a fabricated chemical attack in Jisr al-Shughour.

The Center said that film crews from Middle Eastern channels and one major American channel arrived at Jisr al-Shughour to film the alleged attack, which shows members of the “White Helmets” pretending to help people after an alleged attack with explosive barrels containing toxic materials.

The Center said the fabricated videos include shots of “White Helmets” members collecting soil samples to give a touch of realism to the scenes, adding that terrorists have transported on Tuesday morning two barrels of a chlorine-based substance from Khirbet al-Jozeh town near the Turkish borders to Jisr al-Shughour.

The center said that videos of the alleged chemical attack will be handed to mass media today so that they would be broadcast after they are published on social media.
