Provinces, SANA- Terrorists fired rocket and mortar shells on al-Azeziyeh and al-Bahsa towns in al-Sqailbiyeh area in Hama countryside, claiming the lives of two citizens and injuring 9 others.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired a number of rocket and mortar shells on al-Azeziyeh and al-Bahsa towns in al-Sqailbiyeh area in the northwestern countryside of Hama, claiming the lives of 2 citizens and injuring 9 others, in addition to causing large material damage to the citizens’ properties.
Fresh wave of terrorist mortar attacks leaves 8 civilians injured in Damascus
Meanwhile, eight civilians were injured in a fresh wave of terrorist mortar attacks which took place in several residential areas in the city of Damascus, according to a Police Command source.
The source told SANA reporter that a mortar shell fired by terrorists landed in the middle of the main street in al-Nejmeh Square, injuring two
citizens and damaging a number of cars.
Three more citizens were reported injured by shrapnel of a mortar shell which fell near Omar Bin al-Khattab Mosque in al-Kabbas neighborhood.
The source also said that another shell hit al- Abbassiyeen area, injuring 3 citizens and causing material damage to a number of shops and cars.
In the same context, a mortar shell fired by terrorists smashed into a house in al-Zahera neighborhood, causing material damage only without
hurting anyone.
Civilian killed, six injured in terrorist mortar attack on Jaramana
Damascus Countryside, SANA – One civilian was killed and six were injured in terrorist mortar attacks on the town of Jaramana and al-Wafidin Camp in Damascus Countryside.
A source at the province’s Police Command told SANA’s correspondent that terrorists fired a mortar round which fell in the main square of Jaramana, killing one civilian and inflicting injuries of varying severity on six others, in addition to damaging nearby cars.
The source added that another round fell in al-Wafidin Camp in the province, causing material damage to a shop but no injuries.
