Provinces, SANA – An increasing number of members of terrorist organizations are getting killed as army units continue to crack down hard on their gatherings and positions in various areas across the country, with the military operations resulting also in the destruction of the terrorists’ weapons and equipment.
Army units in Aleppo continued targeting gatherings of terrorist groups in various areas, inflicting heavy losses upon their members.
Areas where gatherings of terrorists were targeted included Khan al-Assal, Tadef, Tal Jihan, Ekhtarin, Kafrnaha, Andan, Hanano, Saraqeb, Tal Sh’eir, al-Sukkari and Bustan al-Qasr in the city and countryside of the northern province, according to a military source.
SANA reporter quoted the source as saying that an army unit also killed terrorists in the neighborhoods of Salah-Eddin and al-Ameriyeh, while another unit destroyed two cars which terrorists were using in the areas of al-Layramoun roundabout and Ritan, killing all the terrorists aboard them.
A series of military operations were carried out in which army units targeted a number of gatherings and dens of terrorists in various areas in the city and countryside of the southern province of Daraa.
SANA reporter quoted a military source as saying that an army unit targeted gatherings of terrorists in al-Arba’een neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad in the city, leaving many of them dead and wounded, in addition to destroying the equipment they were using.
Other army units killed a number of terrorists and destroyed several of vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns and a bulldozer which they were using in the towns of Atman, Kafr Shams, Khirbet al-Mleihehm, al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh, al-Sahwa, Salmin and on Khrab al-Shahem-al-Yadouda road in the countryside of the province.
Military source said an army units target terrorists’ gathering near Bilal al-Habashi Mosque in Daraa al-Balad, killing several terrorists and wounding others.
Army unit destroyed a weapons and ammunition cache for terrorists and a number of cars equipped with heavy machine guns which the terrorists were using in the surrounding of Serjeh town in Jabal al-Zawieh in the countryside of Idleb, in northern Syria, leaving many of the terrorists dead.
ِA military source said army units target terrorists’ hideouts in Sarjeh town southeast of Ariha in Idleb countryside, killing numbers of terrorists and wounding others, among them leaders in Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization.
The units also destroyed a weapons’ cache during the operation. Units of the armed forces foiled terrorists’ attempts to attack several military posts in the countryside of the central province of Homs, Killing many of them and destroying their weapons.
A military source told SANA reporter that army units repelled terrorists who attempted to attack a military post in al-Sa’en area in Talbisa in the countryside of Homs province, leaving a number of them dead and wounded.
Another army unit, the source added, confronted terrorists who were trying to infiltrate from Jisr al-Khrab towards al-Waer farms in the countryside, killing many of them and destroying their weapons.
Other units of the armed forces targeted gatherings of terrorists in the towns and villages of Um Sharshouh, Tal al-Sanasel, Talet al-Bado and al-Hilaliyeh farms, killing scores of them and destroying their equipment.
A military source told SANA reporter that army units targeted gatherings of terrorists in Mas’hara, Tal Mas’hara, Rasm Khmeis and al-Sabrouki in the countryside of the northern province of Quneitra, leaving numbers of them dead and wounded.
Meanwhile in Damascus Countryside, army units continued their operations against terrorist groups in the direction of the areas of Zebdin and Hteitet al-Jersh and expanded their grip in the eastern Ghouta, killing scores of terrorists.
A military source said that army units have made substantial progress in eastern Ghouta, establishing control on the farms surrounding Hutaitet al-Jeresh, Ghadaq Factory and several building blocks at the town’s entrance after inflicting heavy losses on terrorists.
Units of the armed forces killed numbers of terrorists and wound others and destroyed three vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns which the terrorists were using in the farms of Khan al-Sheeh and the farms of al-Husseiniyeh.
Army units continued operations in many areas in Damascus Countryside, killing large numbers of terrorists, many of them of non-Syrian nationalities, and destroying their weaponry and hideouts.
A military source indicated that army units continued their advance in Jobar neighborhood, closing in on terrorists there and killing large numbers of them inside the tunnels that were destroyed in the process.
SANA field reporter said army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Jobar, Jissrin, and Ein Tarma in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside, killing large numbers of terrorists.
The army made advances in many areas in Joubar and destroyed a number of terrorists’ hideouts, killing a number of terrorists, among them were Nayef al-Qahtani from Saudi Arabia and Mohammad al-Shibl from Libya.
In Damascus’ southwestern countryside, the army destroyed terrorists’ gatherings and hideouts in Khan al-Sheeh and eliminated many of them.
In al-Qalamoun mountains, the army inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists in a series of operation along the Syrian-Lebanese borders.
According to a military source, army units destroy arms caches and target ISIS dens in the Vanguards Camp in Raqqa, killing and wounding large numbers of terrorists.
A military source said an army unit has eliminated a number of terrorists and destroyed a vehicle equipped with a machinegun in al-Bustan village in the northeastern countryside of Dama town in Sweida.
