Moscow, SANA –Moscow strongly condemned on Tuesday the terrorist attack that targeted al-Midan neighborhood in Damascus yesterday which claimed the lives of a number of police personnel and civilians.
Russian Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement that Moscow strongly condemns the bloody crime and expresses deep sympathy with the families of the victims, wishing the injured persons quick recovery.
In the same context, the Venezuelan government expressed its strong condemnation of the terrorist attack on al-Midan Police Department in Damascus.
Venezuela categorically rejects terrorism and its backers “who seek to undermine the determination of the people and government of Syria in their struggle to get rid of the threat posed by the perpetrators of such attacks,” the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
A group of terrorists, including suicide bombers equipped with explosive belts, attacked the Police Department in al-Midan neighborhood in Damascus on Monday, resulting in the death of a number of police personnel and civilians.
