Damascus, SANA- Syria strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a security center in southeastern Iran yesterday, claiming the lives of 12 members of the internal security forces and injuring others.
“The escalation of terrorist attacks supported by known hostile parties and their tools in the region is clear evidence of the failure of the forces supporting terrorism internationally and regionally, and clearly demonstrates the resort of the forces behind this terrorist act to more bloodshed and tension of the situation to serve their goals,” the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The ministry offered Syria’s sincere condolences to the Iranian people and leadership and the families of the victims and expressed support for them in the face of these terrorist attacks.
The ministry pointed out that the failure of these terrorists and those who support them will be inevitable as a result of the unity of the Iranian people.
The ministry concluded that international community should condemn such immoral and inhumane acts and those behind them ,and hold their perpetrators accountable wherever they are.
