Damascus Countryside, SANA – Three citizens were killed Tuesday as terrorists fired a number of mortar shells on Bludan-al-Zabadani road and on Harasta Suburb in Damascus Countryside.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that a mortar shell fired by terrorists fell on the road between Bludan and al-Zabadani, claiming the lives of three citizens, including members of national reconciliation in al-Zabadani Fawaz Ismail and Nabbel Alaa-Eddin.
The source added that four other shells hit B2 Island and Sa’ad Zamam areas in Harasta Suburb, injuring 6 citizens.
Earlier, a civilian was wounded by the gunfire of a terrorist sniper in the area opposite to the Water Resources Department building on Harasta highway in the countryside of Damascus.
A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that a sniper opened fire on a motorcycle that was passing near the building, badly injuring the rider, who was transported to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
