Aleppo, SANA – The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC)denounced the attack on a relief center in al-Hamdaniyeh neighborhood in Aleppo yesterday.
In a statement issued on is official website, the organization stated that the SARC and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies condemn the attack on a center for relief and humanitarian aid in al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood in Aleppo.
The organization added that the attack caused the death of an employee and the injury of 7 others, 3 of whom are in serious condition
The SARC and ICRC remind all sides of the need to respect and protect the humanitarian workers and the citizens’ rights to assistance and protection.
On Wednesday, the terrorist groups targeted residential houses in al-Hamadaniyeh neighborhood with several rocket shells, causing the death of two persons and the injury of many others, in addition to huge material damage to properties.
