Provinces, SANA- An army unit aided by the popular defense groups in the village of Hadar, in Quneitra Province, clashed with terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra which attempted to attack one of the military posts in al-Dalafeh site to the south of the village.
SANA reporter in the province said Sunday that the army thwarted the terrorist attack, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist groups in personnel and equipment.
The army units bombarded Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Tal al-Hamriyeh to the south of Hadar village, killing and injuring a number of them.
The source said that the armed terrorist groups shot fire towards the farmlands to the south of the village, injuring two persons.
Homs
Meanwhile, the army units thwarted ISIS terrorists’ attempts to infiltrate to Abu al-Alaya village in the eastern countryside of Homs.
A military source told SANA that army units killed a number of the terrorists and injured others who were attempting to infiltrate from al-Barghouthia village to Abu al-Alaya village in the eastern countryside of Homs, destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Aleppo
Army units destroyed five heavy machineguns-equipped vehicles belonging to ISIS
terrorists and eliminated scores of them in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.
The army units carried out military operations on ISIS terrorists’ movement axes in Rasem al-Harmal al-Imam, Tal Ahmar and in the surroundings of the Air Force Academy, about 52km east of Aleppo city.
The source added that the army operation resulted in destroying five ISIS terrorists’ heavy machineguns-equipped vehicles and killing and injuring scores of ISIS terrorists.
