Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by west currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be between clear to partly cloudy in general; rain showers are expected in the coastal mountains.
The Department warned against the formation of frost in the mountains and fog in most of the inland areas.
The winds will be south to southeastern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of low amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 13/04, Daraa 14/05, Homs 12/05, Hama 13/05, Lattakia 17/10, Aleppo 10/03 and Deir Ezzor 14/04.
