Damascus, SANA-Deir Ezzor sheikhs, dignitaries, MPs and different families affirmed they stand against and reject terrorism with all its forms, particularly the terrorist organization of the so-called “The State of Iraq and Cham.”
Sheikhs and dignitaries of the city announced in a statement following a meeting in Damascus that they all stand against any act that could destabilize social security and stability, underlining that they support the Army which defend Homeland under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
They appreciated the blessed popular confrontation in Deir Ezzor against the so-called “The State of Iraq and Cham.”
Sheikh Fawaz al-Bashir of al-Bakara Tribe affirmed that Deir Ezzor needs all its citizens to preserve its history and civilization in the face of terrorist organizations, mainly the so-called State of Iraq and Cham, adding “the only way for life is to fight terrorism.”
Mufti of the Syrian Eastern city, Sheikh Abdul-Kader al-Rawi, called on Deir Ezzor citizens to stand in one rank against terrorism and carry the flag of dignity to keep their land.
