Army thwarts Jaish al-Fateh terrorists’ attack in Aleppo, continues operations across country


Provinces, SANA- The Syrian army units thwarted a terrorist attack launched by Jaish al-Fateh” terrorists on military posts in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo province.

A military source told SANA Thursday that the army units clashed with terrorist groups on the direction of the Air Defense Battalion and al-Hikma School roundabout and the 1070 Apartment Project, southwest of Aleppo.

The source added that the clash ended up with foiling the attack, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist groups in personnel and equipment while others fled away where their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

 Homs

The army’s air force targeted a gathering for ISIS terrorists and killed more than 70 of them, destroyed a rocket launcher and a number of vehicles equipped with machine guns in Sad Abou Kila west of Palmyra.

Earlier, scores of ISIS terroristswere killed and more than 12 of their vehicles were destroyed
in the Army Air Force airstrikes against their gatherings and movement axes in the southwestern countryside of Palmyra in Homs Province.

The Syrian army air force directed concentrated strikes on ISIS gatherings and their movement axes on the direction of Qasr (Palace) al-Hayr al-Gharbi/ al-Bardeh southwest Palmyra.

The strikes killed 46 terrorists and destroyed seven machineguns-equipped vehicles, five booby- trapped cars, four self-propelled guns and a DShK-equipped vehicle.

Daraa

An army unit carried out precise operations against the Israeli-linked terrorist
organizations in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa province.

The army operations destroyed terrorists’ positions and eliminated a number of them in al-Sad (Dam) Road neighborhood and in the western part of al-Nazihin Camp.
