Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by relatively wet western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy in general and that local rain showers might fall, particularly in the northern and coastal areas.
Frost is also expected over the mountains and fog is expected in most of the inland areas at night and in the early morning.
The wind will be changeable with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/5, Daraa 17/9, Homs 14/7, Lattakia 19/12, Aleppo 14/8 and Deir Ezzor 18/9.
