Damascus, SANA – President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday issued law no. 23 for 2016 on transferring the ownership of Al-Assad University Hospital in Lattakia to the Defense Ministry.
The law stipulates for transferring the hospital with all its real-estate, structures, equipment, furniture, and tools to the Directorate of Military Medical Services at Defense Ministry, and that the permanent workers at the hospital will be transferred to Tishreen University Hospital while retaining all their status, wages, and services records, and temporary and contracted workers will also be transferred to Tishreen University Hospital until their contracts expire.
