Provinces, SANA – During the past 24 hours, the armed groups breached the truce regime 21 times in Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Aleppo, Homs, Hama, Daraa and Quneitra.
A military source told SANA that the armed groups fired 21 mortar shells and three rocket shells on al-Faiha building, Electricity Company and to the east of al-Abasyeen bus station in al-Abasyeen area in Damascus.
The source added that the armed groups also violated the truce regime for one time in Daraa city by targeting the building of the Old Customs with two tank shells.
Earlier on the day, three people were injured in an attack with tank shells launched by the armed groups on Daraa al-Balad and the axis of the deserted Battalion to the north of Dael in Daraa southern province.
In Hama, the armed groups breached the truce regime three times as they tried to infiltrate towards one of the military posts to the west of Ma’an in the northern countryside from the direction of Tal –Sawwan/Hwair Valley/Tal Bazam while al-Shir village was attacked with rocket shells from the direction of Batish village.
In Homs central province, the armed groups breached the truce regime again through targeting one of the military posts near al-Ratsan with a mortar shell from the direction of al-Rastan.
In Quneitra, the source added that the armed groups breached the truce regime by targeting al-Ghajraf village with a mortar shell from the direction of Um Batina village.
Earlier in the day, a military source said that the armed groups breached the truce regime in Damascus by targeting Joubar area with mortar shells and sniper fire from the direction of Zamalka.
The source added that five breaches were also observed in Damascus Countryside where the armed groups attacked military posts in Bala village in the Eastern Ghota and they attacked other military posts on the outskirts of Erbeen, in addition to targeting a number of military posts in the Eastern Ghota with mortar shells and machineguns from the direction of Douma.
The area of al-Salam Highway and one of the military posts were also attacked by the armed groups from the direction of Khan al-Shih farms in the western countryside of Damascus.
In Aleppo, the armed groups breached the truce regime twice through targeting the area of Aleppo Castle with sniper fire and machineguns and they attacked the Artillery Academy with two mortar shells.
Three breaches were also observed in Homs where the armed groups launched mortar shells on the area of Jabbourin from the direction of al-Ghantou and they attacked Hirsh Tasnin and one of the military posts in al-Ghirbal area in the surroundings of Jabbourin with mortar shells from the direction of Um Sharshouh.
In Quneitra, the armed groups breached the truce regime through targeting al-Amal farms, Dahret al-Kassar, Tal Ahmar and Hadar with mortar shells and machineguns from the direction of Jubbat al-Khashab and Tranja.
The truce regime is applied across Syria for seven days as of 19:00 on September 12th 2016 and until 23:59 on September 18th. The army reserves the right to respond decisively using all types of firepower to any breach by armed groups.
Four civilians injured due to breaches of the truce regime by terrorist groups in Quneitra countryside
Four civilians were injured, including three children, when armed terrorist groups targeted with mortar and rocket shells villages, residential areas and some military posts in Quneitra countryside in a new breach of the cessation of hostilities.
A source at Quneitra Province told SANA reporter that mortar shells fired by terrorist groups positioned in Ofania village in Quneitra countryside fell on Khan Arnabeh village injuring four civilians including three children and causing material damage to public and private properties.
The armed groups, according to the source, also targeted Hadar village in the northern countryside of Quneitra and a number of military posts with rocket shells.
The source said that the armed groups positioned in Jubata al-Khashab fired 5 rocket shells on Hadar village, causing material damage only.
The source pointed out that the armed groups also targeted a number of military posts in al-Amal Farms with rocket shells. The army artillery responded to the source of the shells in the forests of Tranja and Jubata al-Khashab, inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists.
Three civilians injured due to breaches of the truce regime by armed groups in Daraa
Three civilians were injured due to two breaches of the truce regime by armed groups in Daraa province on Saturday.
A source at Daraa told SANA reporter that the armed groups targeted with tank shells Jabhat al-Manshiyeh in Daraa al-Balad and the area around the abandoned battalion to the north of Dael.
The breaches resulted in injuring three civilians, causing material damage to the area and necessitating the armed units to respond to the source of the shells.
