Damascus, SANA – The temperatures tend to gradually drop, but will remain 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is still affected by a seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by western air currents n the upper layers of the atmosphere.
According to the Monday bulletin of the Meteorology Department, skies are going to be clear to partly cloudy in general, while misty weather is expected to prevail in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly with light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Temperatures will continue to drop tomorrow to become around average in most of the Syrian areas.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities on Monday will be as follows: Damascus 36/21, Daraa 34/20, Homs 34/20, Lattakia 30/22, Aleppo 36/22 and Deir Ezzor 39/24.
