Thursday weather forecast: Temperatures continue to rise

Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to rise to become 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by a weak subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert areas.”

The winds will be westerly to northwesterly with light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be medium in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become 2 to 4 degrees above average.

The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/21, Daraa 33/20, Homs 33/21, Lattakia 31/24, Aleppo 35/21, and Deir Ezzor 37/23.
