Damascus, SANA – Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Adib Mayaleh discussed on Sunday with the chargé d’affaires at the Iraqi Embassy in Damascus Riad Hassoun al-Tai means to activate the trade and economic cooperation relations between the two countries to serve mutual interests.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed on continuing work to remove all the administrative and customs-related obstacles that hinder the activation of the trade movement between Syria and Iraq.
They also highlighted the importance of calling the Iraqi-Syrian joint committee to convene soon in order to follow up on the cooperation relations.
