Carjacking gang arrested in Tartous

Tartous, SANA – The Criminal Security Department in Tartous arrested members of a gang that committed crimes of carjacking and robbery.

Sources at the Department told SANA reporter that investigators at the Department uncovered the details of the gang’s latest crime after finding the body of the owner of one of the cars that the gang hijacked which the criminals had left at the outskirts of Tartous city.

The sources said that after interrogating the gang members, they committed to 3 acts of abduction and robbery in Tartous and 2 similar crimes in Aleppo city, adding that investigations are underway to find out whether the gang committed any other crimes.
