Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain around average in most areas as the country is still affected by the Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by high subtropical air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that it is going to be a typical summer day and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The winds will be northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/19, Daraa 35/18, Homs 33/18, Lattakia 31/21, Aleppo 38/20 and Deir Ezzor 43/25.
