Damascus, SANA – Public Works and Housing Minister Hussein Arnous affirmed the importance of the participation of countries from friendly countries, particularly from South Africa, in the field of fast construction of buildings and providing engineering vehicles needed by Syrian companies for the reconstruction stage.
During a meeting with Ambassador of South Africa in Damascus Shaun Byneveldt on Monday, Arnous lauded Byneveldt’s efforts for bolstering relations between the two countries and developing them in all fields, particularly in the field of works and housing as this is vital in providing the Syrian companies needs for reconstruction and building in terms of machinery and vehicles.
For his part, Byneveldt affirmed his country’s commitment to maintaining coordination and cooperation with Syria, particularly in issues related to housing and construction, with emphasis on providing expertise and the requirements of the reconstruction process.
