PM Khamis: Syrian government keen on going ahead in boosting relations with friendly countries of Russia, Iran and Belarus

Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Imad Khamis stressed the government’s keenness on going ahead in boosting relations with its friendly countries of Russia, Iran and Belarus in a way that contributes to upgrading economic cooperation on different levels.

The remark came in the Premier’s thanks cables to Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, first Vice President of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri and Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov in response to their congratulatory cables to him upon his appointment as Syria’s Prime Minister.

Premier Khamis expressed the Syrian government and people’s thanks and appreciation for the noble stances of the leaderships and peoples of Russia, Iran and Belarus, which have contributed to upgrading and supporting the steadfastness of the Syrian people in the face of terrorism and hostile forces.
